Mouthguard Improves Athletic Performance, Rave Dentists

In this survey, we found that fully nine out of ten dentists surveyed believe mouthguards can improve athletic performance – specifically, the Pure Power Mouthguard (PPM), a neuromuscular device.”Ask the athletes who are using them and have seen the increase in strength, flexibility and balance,” said one dentist. “Terrell Owens has actually been timed running faster with his PPM in.”

Lawsuit Targets Providers of Overpriced, Unnecessary Dental Work

Attorney General Files Suit Against Massachusetts Practices

The Massachusetts Attorney General has filed suit against three high-volume dental practices, alleging
they attracted low-income patients with the offer of a free exam, then pulled a “bait and switch” with unnecessary and substandard dental work that left patients both in pain and in debt. The suit names individual dentists, finance advisers and business managers employed at the practices.
